Stephen Brophy is the winner of the 2021 Montana Prize in Fiction and the Silver Apples Magazine Short Story Competition. He has been shortlisted for the Listowel Writer’s Week Bryan MacMahon Short Story Award and the Aleph Writing Prize. He is the recipient of a Munster Literature Centre Mentoring Fellowship. His short fiction appears in Cutbank and various other magazines. He lives in Cork, Ireland, where he is working on his first short story collection.
