Seamus Mc Dermott started writing poetry at the age of fifty-two. His work is published in Corncrake Magazine, The Madrigal Magazine, Little Gems Magazine, Crossways Magazine, The Bangor Literary Journal, and in Hidden Donegal anthology of Donegal poets. Seamus is a member of ‘The Diamond Writers’ and ‘This Writing Think’ writers groups. His poems have been shortlisted in international poetry competitions, with a runner-up poem in the Bangor Literary Journal 2022 Forty Words Competition. Seamus has had a video-poem selected for screening at five international film festivals.
