Scott Hames writes about Scottish literature and politics at the University of Stirling, though he’s really from Canada. His book on the Literary Politics of Scottish Devolution came out in 2020, and he’s now focused on Scottish cultural magazines of the 1960s-90s. He also edited Unstated: Writers on Scottish Independence (2012) and the Edinburgh Companion to James Kelman (2010).
