Rachel Donohue's debut novel The Temple House Vanishing (Corvus) was published in 2020 and was nominated for an An Post Irish Book Award in the Best Newcomer Category and for the Kate O'Brien Award for best debut by an Irish female author. Her second novel The Beauty of Impossible Things (Corvus) was published in May 2021. Her short stories have appeared in the Irish Independent, Irish Times and RTE.ie. In 2017 she won the Hennessy New Irish Writer of the Year Award for her short fiction. She lives in Dublin.
