PR Walker started writing poetry again in 2018 after a gap of over 30 years. Over the past two years, he’s had several poems shortlisted/commended in competitions or published in magazines and anthologies, including The New European, Honest Ulsterman and Black Lives Matter: Poems for a New World. His recent poem ‘The Grammar of the World is losing its Syntax” was runner up in the 2021 Desmond O’Grady International Poetry Competition.
