Peter Blair grew up in Belfast. He lectures in English at the University of Chester, with research interests in South African literature and flash fiction, and is founding co-editor of Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine (www.chester.ac.uk/flash.magazine). His poems and stories have been runners-up in the Bridport Prize, the Fish Prize, and the Bath Flash Fiction Award.
