Neil Young hails from Belfast and now lives in Aberdeenshire, where he is co-founder of The Poets’ Republic magazine. He has written three chapbooks: Lagan Voices (Scryfa), The Parting Glass – fourteen sonnets (Tapsalteerie), and Jimmy Cagney’s Long-Lost Kid Half-Brother (Black Light Engine Room). Neil’s poems have appeared in publications ranging from Poetry Ireland Review, Northwords Now, Prole, The Interpreter’s House, The Scotsman, The Morning Star, and anthologies in the UK and USA.
