Martyn Halsall

Martyn Halsall retired from a lifetime’s involvement in journalism to live and write in rural West Cumbria. His poetry publications include Sanctuary (Canterbury Press), reflecting on his year as the first Poet in Residence at Carlisle Cathedral, and Coronach (Wayleave Press), poems of historical and environmental lament. His fifth collection, Passing Place, examining the concept of ‘sacred space’, will be published by Cylch Cerrig Press in April or May.
