Jefferson Holdridge

Born in White Plains, NY, and raised in Weston, Connecticut, Jefferson Holdridge studied and taught at UCD before moving to North Carolina. He is the author of three volumes of poetry, Eruptions (Belfast, 2013) and Devil’s Den and Other Poems (Ithaca, 2015), and The Sound Thereof (Bradford, 2017). He has written two critical books entitled Those Mingled Seas: The Poetry of W.B. Yeats, the Beautiful and the Sublime (Dublin, 2000) and The Poetry of Paul Muldoon (Dublin, 2008). A third critical work, entitled Palimpsests of Conquest: Nature, Home, and Landscape in Irish Literature, is forthcoming from Syracuse.
