James Conway founded the Rathmines Writers' Workshop in 1990. He won the Jonathan Swift Poetry award in 2019. His work has appeared in Cyphers,The shop,Books Ireland and was broadcast on Sunday Miscellany. He has two books of poetry published, Vertebrae of Journey (Swan Press) and Purple Coat (Lapwing). He is currently completing a third book which will be published this year.
