I`m Gerry Crawford, a retired man born in 1952 in the townland of Aughnamoira, County Down. Carlngford Lough is a hinterland. After attending Abbey CBS in Newry I went into legal practice and have lived in Belfast for most of my life. Since retirement I`ve maintained my lifetime interests in music, walking and poetry. I joined classes for poetry, creative writing and memoir at the Crescent Arts Centre, where I have received excellent tutoring, particularly from Ruth Carr.The encouragement and assistance of my fellow poets is incalculable and greatly appreciated.
