David Haughey

David Haughey is an artist living and working in Belfast. He graduated from Ulster University BA (Hons) Fine Art (2001), and is currently a researcher and PhD candidate within the Belfast School of Art (2020). His interests fold in the conventions of painting and photography with expanded practices and installation - with a particular focus on temporality and process. He has shown work in Venice, at La Casa Di Corto Maltese (2011), the Royal Ulster Academy Annual exhibition (2014), and at Void Gallery, Derry, in an exhibition curated by Mark Wallinger (2015). A solo exhibition of painting took place at The Ulster University Art Gallery in 2017. he has shown work at the Charlie Smith Gallery, London; Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku, Finland; MCAC Portadown and The Galway Arts Centre.
