Brendan McLoughlin

Brendan McLoughlin is originally from Howth, Co. Dublin. He holds a BA in economics, politics and law from Dublin City University and has recently graduated from Queen's University Belfast with an MA in Creative Writing from the Seamus Heaney Centre. He has been named 'New Irish Writer' at the 43rd Hennessy Literary Awards, for his short story 'Last Breath', which was published in the Irish Independent last year.
