Alison Gorman is a poet based on the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. Her poetry has been published in a number of Australian journals including Meanjin, Cordite Poetry Review, Contrapasso and Southerly and in 2016 she won the Dorothy Porter poetry prize. She has a poem published in a forthcoming issue of Popshot Quarterly. Alison holds a Masters of Creative Writing from the University of Sydney and teaches creative writing to children at Inkling Writing Studio which she founded in 2018.
