Unpublished, save in an ill-remembered undergrad chapbook, Alan has been a singer-songwriter for fifteen years, performing at festivals in Northern Ireland, playing live and recording on radio. Inevitably wading knee deep in hooks, bridges and middle-eights, this is his first foray into the unharmonic world of poetry. Having been a community worker and working in disability rights, Alan is enjoying his retirement.
