Abby Oliveira is writer, performer and theatre maker based in Derry. She has been an active part of the Irish spoken-word scene for over a decade. During that time she has brought her work to Australia (via funding from Arts Council NI), Singapore Writer's Festival, and the National Concert Hall in Dublin, and performs regularly throughout Ireland/UK. Her work is typically cross-genre; comprising elements of poetry, storytelling, rap, music and physical performance. She recently debuted her one-woman multi-media theatre show 'Legends of the Coven' at Echo Echo Dance Studios, Derry. She was the organiser/host of the hugely successful Monday Night Cure at Sandino's, a monthly live-literature party that ran from 2015-2018.
