Gerry Smyth
Gerry Smyth is Professor of Irish Cultural History at Liverpool John Moores University. He has published widely on Irish literary history and music. His current publications include Joyces Noyces: Music and Sound in the Life and Literature of James Joyce (Palgrave, 2020), and Sailor Song: The Shanties and Ballads of the High Seas (British Library, 2020).
